Bingley Belles is a group of women who want to go out cycling with other women, stop for a chat, look at the scenery or have a coffee.
We offer regular rides on different days and times of the month.
We go at the slowest rider’s pace… no one is left behind.
Most of our rides are flat and traffic-free, with options of hills and quiet lanes for the more adventurous.
All rides are free for members to join, have two trained ride leaders, and are categorised using our very own Cake Scale:
One cake
Easiest ride, often short and flat with no traffic, e.g. Five Rise Locks to Roberts Park
Two cake
Middle distance, maybe some quiet lanes, and one hill, e.g. Five Rise Locks to Cliffe Castle
Three cake
Longer distance, several hills, possible shared roads, e.g. Five Rise Locks to Skipton
If you don’t have a bike, we can provide one for £3 per session thanks to the Bingley Yorkshire Bank Bike Library.
We also sometimes offer our members training opportunities such as beginners’ sessions, on-road training and bike maintenance workshops, depending on funding.
Our committee also organises regular events including socials and even cycling trips abroad.
We’d love for you to join us – Bingley Belles membership is just £5 a year.

The book club meet every 6 weeks to discuss a book they have been reading collectively. If you want to join them just get in touch.
We will have news of all our exploits over the previous year plus a chance to hear from a representative from Candlelighters to find out about all their amazing work.
